
Finally a weekend at home. From three weekends of seeing the rest of the US, and a couple of weeks of seeing the inside of a laboratory for a little too long, this weekend felt like a breather. A break. An opportunity.

The Bonelli park ProXCT was an experience – it marked the change in me from being a wannabe pro rider, to actually chasing points and prizes around the country. A big step; a big change in commitment of both time and money.

The Fontana City National: stop three of the US Cup.

I finished 38th at the US Cup in Bonelli this weekend. A crazy number. The kind of finishing position you normally whisper under your breathe in case someone overhears you. Today was a little different, and I’m struggling to wrap my head around the result.

Mellow Johnny’s classic. The first US Cup of 2014; It’s hard to be ready to race when winter is still gripping Colorado. Seeing friends and being out in the warm sunshine is motivating though – a great season opener.
